Homeowner Information

MEMBERSHIP AND PAYMENT OF DUES 

The following information is provided to acquaint you with the services, privileges and restrictions of our community. Your monthly Woodcove HOA dues provide for the maintenance and ongoing operations of the common areas. As a resident, your monthly dues cover access to all common areas, playgrounds, basketball court, pump, maintenance of the pump, barrel shaft, filters, sprinkler heads, pipes, pumphouse and park side walks. 

Currently assessment dues are set at $56.03 per month for dwellings with a increase yearly, and are invoiced at the end of each month if you chose a monthly payment plan. Due date is 30 days after invoice date. We recommend payment via credit/debit card or bank draft (ACH) using Appfolio. If a payment is not paid within 90 days after the due date, a late charge will be added to your statement.    

ANNUAL PREPAYMENT DISCOUNT

If you chose our yearly payment plan you can pay $616.31 through the online portal or mail a check for this same amount to:  Woodcove HOA, P.O. Box 2092, West Jordan, UT  84084.  Once the annual payment is received, you will be credited with a one month HOA dues credit the following month as a benefit for paying in advance (yearly payments are only offered in the month of October).  

PREPAID BALANCE AT TIME OF SALE OF HOME WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION 

When you pay on a yearly plan and decide to move out before the next annual billing cycle you can either gift your prepaid dues to the buyer, use it as a bargaining chip to the buyer, or negotiate a reimbursement from the buyer. The HOA will NOT issue refunds, therefore any prepaid balance reimbursement must be handled by the tile company in the form of a credit to the seller.   

SUBMITTING PAYMENTS TO THE ASSOCIATION 

If paying via check, it must be postmarked by the due date. Please send checks to:  Woodcove Park HOA, PO Box 2092, West Jordan, UT 84084.  If paying monthly dues online, please request access to the online portal or if pay through your bank’s online bill pay option, please be sure the check arrives at the address above.  

COMMON AREAS 

The common areas of the association are for the enjoyment and use of all current homeowners. All homeowners are responsible for picking up after themselves and their pets when in the common areas.  Additionally, all homeowners with pets must maintain your pet on a leash within the owners control when outside the home or enclosed yard according to the HOA CC&R’s and the West Jordan’s City ordinances regarding pets.  All homeowners wishing to use any of the parks for private events such as birthdays, BBQ’s, etc, will need to notify the board 48 hours before the event so that we are able to have the landscaper to turn off sprinkler systems.  This applies only to evening events when the sprinklers are schedule to run.  Please email us at info@woodcovehoa.com to inform us you want to use the parks.
