The City of West Jordan provides many services to the owners in the Woodcove Park Subdivision. Listed below are a number of website links to help you get to the correct departments within the city government with your concerns.
Animal Control - Should you have need of reporting an Animal Control incident, please visit The City of West Jordan’s Animal Services page . They have many resources regarding ordinances, animal adoptions, lost cats or dogs. You can review all the services available through the Animal Services page at the city’s website. You can also contact Animal Control directly by calling 801-282-3951.
Snow Removal The City of West Jordan is responsible for clearing the snow from the streets and cul-de-sacs in the Woodcove Park subdivision.
The homeowners are responsible for clearing the snow in front of their homes, sidewalks and driveways. The Homeowners Association is responsible ONLY for clearing the sidewalks in the common areas (i.e. the parks). The Snow Removal page of the City’s website is a detailed resource regarding the many aspects of snow removal throughout the Woodcove Park subdivision. There is a Snow removal priority section, street parking section, Frequently Asked Questions section and many more sections listed on this page as you scroll down. Click on this link to direct you to the Utility Maintenance Department at the City of West Jordan to request service for snow removal. Street Maintenance - The City also has a webpage dedicated to Street Maintenance. This section covers street sweeping and pothole information. There is also a Service Request link a the top of the page for your convenience in submitting a specific request including street lights and signage requests. Utility Services – In order to sign up for service, you must be the property owner.
The Utility Services department represents: Water, garbage, sewer, recycling, green waste, street lights and storm drains. Additionally, information regarding gas and electric rates are also listed on this site.
Garbage Service - If your garbage service was missed, you can contact Ace Disposal directly for a pickup and for all of your garbage, recycling and green waste questions at 801-363-9995.
Pay your Utility Bills online – you can pay your utility bills online. Simply go to this website to set up your account or to enter your user name and password. You may also contact the Utility department directly by calling 801-569-5000. Day-to-Day Services – there are many other services provide to the subdivision by the City of West Jordan.
The West Jordan Community Outreach has a department that will help you get graffiti removed from your property for FREE!
The Board has been hard at work trying to find resources available to help combat the increase in graffiti activity in the Woodcove Park Subdivision.

In order to combat graffiti in our neighborhood it is suggested that you install a RING or video doorbell camera and report any suspicious activity you observe including the date and time of day to the West Jordan Police (801)-840-4000. This may help protect your property and it provides the police with a record of what is going on in the neighborhood.
Once we can identify individuals and/or suspicious activity, the police will beef up patrols in our neighborhood. The consistent presence of the police in our neighborhood during the times of suspicious activity and the reporting of the activity is a huge deterrent to these vandals.
It will take a community effort to stop the vandals and help the police curb the vandalism of property in our neighborhood.
Salt Lake County provides assistance for property owners in obtaining supplies to assist with the removal of graffiti through Gangfree.Utah.Gov. Please contact them for immediate free removal at 801-972-7885 or graffiti@ci.slc.ut.us.

Re-group
Most graffiti perpetrators tire easily if graffiti is removed quickly (ideally within 24 hours).
